The interview dates traditionally are from early November to February.
Once you are invited for an interview, we would like to make your time at Lenox Hill Hospital as productive as possible. The following is a guide to how the interview day may proceed.
- Breakfast and applicant orientation
- Interviews with five to seven faculty members
- Campus bus tour
- Lunch with residents
The general surgery residency program at Lenox Hill Hospital participates in the National Resident Match Program. Due to the volume of applications we receive and the time constraints of individual interviews, we may not consider applications received after the annual ERAS application deadline.
The program does not pay for your lodging. However, there are a variety of hotels in the area surrounding the hospital. For a listing of nearby hotels, please visit our visitor information page.
