Education and training
We’re more than a health system – caring for patients and a community of eight million people, discovering the latest medical and scientific advancements, training the doctors of tomorrow – we’re leading the way.
Even after attending medical school and completing fellowships in specialized areas, such as minimally invasive surgery or family planning, Northwell professionals are always looking to sharpen their skills. Our physicians participate in continuing medicine education courses (CME) and are relentless about staying ahead of the curve when it comes to medical advancements and offering groundbreaking care.
